Dr. D. N. Sonawane

Dr. D. N. Sonawane is an Associate Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control  Engineering at College of Engineering, Pune and head of Embedded Systems Lab. His journey at College of Engineering Pune has started from 1998 as a Lecturer in Instrumentation and currently he is an Associate Professor. He obtained a B.E. degree in Instrumentation and Control form S. G. G. S. College of Engineering and Technology, Nanded in 1997 and Master of Engineering from University of Pune in 2000. He has completed his PhD (Engineering) from University of Pune in 2012 and Post-doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis (USA) and University of Washington Seattle (USA) during January 2014- August 2015.

Vaishali Patne

Mrs. Vaishali Patne is currently working as full time research scholar in the Department of Instrumentation and Control, at College of Engineering, Pune. She is working in Embedded Laboratory under the guidance of Dr. D. N. Sonawane.  Her field of research includes Model Predictive Control and Embedded Control.  She received her Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from College of Engineering, Pune in 1990 and Masters degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with specialization in Electronic Instrumentation in 1994 also from College of Engineering, Pune. She has total experience of over 15 years in  industry as well as in teaching. 

Pramod Ubare

Pramod Ubare is a full-time research scholar in Departmental of Instrumentation and control at College of Engineering Pune, under the guidance of Dr. D. N. Sonawane, since Feb 2018. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics in 2010. He has also obtained M. Tech in Automotive Electronics in 2013. Blending along with passion of Electronics and Automotive technology drives him to pursue his research in Electric Vehicles and Embedded control especially Model Predictive Control.

Nirlipta Mohanty

Nirlipta Ranjan Mohanty is a full time research scholar at Department of Instrumentation and Control, College of Engineering, Pune. He received his B.Tech degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation engineering and M.Tech degree in Instrumentation & Control engineering. His research interests include process control, machine learning, embedded control and model predictive control.
