Dr. D. N. Sonawane is an Associate Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering at College of Engineering, Pune and head of Embedded Systems Lab. His journey at College of Engineering Pune has started from 1998 as a Lecturer in Instrumentation and currently he is an Associate Professor. He obtained a B.E. degree in Instrumentation and Control form S. G. G. S. College of Engineering and Technology, Nanded in 1997 and Master of Engineering from University of Pune in 2000. He has completed his PhD (Engineering) from University of Pune in 2012 and Post-doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis (USA) and University of Washington Seattle (USA) during January 2014- August 2015.
Embedded System Design, Computational Methods, Process Optimization and Control, Quadratic Programming (QP) Solver, Model Predictive Control (MPC) and its embedded implementation.
