PhD Thesis
Abstract:
In modern days the importance of electric vehicle(EV) is increasing due to emission free mechanism. Also Electrical machines has following advantages over IC engines
Reliable robust and fault tolerant drive control is important part of EV, so research in the advance electric-drive is challenging. This investigation deals with dynamic modeling of BLDC motor, considering the automotive load scenario like Road profiles, drive cycles etc., then drive operations and model based control strategy.
Eventually control technique will be realized on FPGA or Micro-controller platform and simulation results will be validated against experimental setup.
